Foundations set up during GYNOCARE MC meeting N. Macedonia
On the 20th September 2022, in order to mark World Gynae-Oncology Day, a press conference was held by the GYNOCARE COST Action Chair Prof Jean Calelja-Agius and the local organiser, Prof Gligor Tofoski, President of the Macedonia Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
During this press conference, which was covered by local and international media, the European Network of Gynaecological Pathologists was set up. This included all pathology specialists and trainees who are already part of GYNOCARE COST Action, especially Working Group 1.
One of the main aims of this network is to edited a second edition of the reference textbook on Rare and Uncomon Gynaecological Cancer (Springer,2011, ISBN : 978-3-642-13491-3). Prof Nicholas Reed, MC member from UK together with the Action Chair, Prof Jean Calleja-Agius will be compiling this new book proposal.
