Cancer biobanks are a specific platform for high-end (bio) medical research in oncology and affect personalized and precision medicine research to a great extent.

As cancer is diverse and its frequency is gradually increasing, oncological biobanks play a big role in the investigation and scientific innovation in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

These biobanks are the cornerstone of cancer research, providing resources for future investigations and biomarker discovery as well as morbidity, mortality, and health. In this workshop, we will speak about biobanking in cancer research, the challenges and strategies for sustainable science and innovation in oncology.
